અહીં
સુરજના કોમળ કિરણોથી
ઝળહળી રહેલા ઝાકળના બિંદુઓમાં
તમારું નામ વાંચી
તમને મળવા નીકળ્યો
અહીં
ફૂલોએ હસીને
મારું સ્વાગત કર્યું
મને શિસ્તની સુવાસ આવી
નિયમિતતાનું ગાન સંભળાયું
અહીં
ઉગતી ઉષાને
ઉચ્ચ આદર્શોના અવનવા રંગોથી
રંગવામાં આવી છે.
જ્ઞાન સરોવરમાં
કળાના કમળો
ખીલવવામાં આવ્યા છે
ઉજ્જવળ ભવિષ્યના
ઝરણાં વહી રહ્યાં છે.
સંસાર સાગરને આ કિનારે
લગારેલી જીવન-નૈયાને
સભ્યતાના શઢ અને હિંમતના હલેસા
અહીંથી આપવામાં આવે છે
ખરેખર !
અહીં મારી લાગણીઓ
ભીની ભીની થઇ ગઇ છે
લાગે છે કે
અહીંની સુવાસથી
હું સદા મહેક્યા કરીશ.
