તને ચાહું છું એટલે હું
ઓગળતો રહ્યો છું સતત –
બરફની જેમ,
પણ ચાહવાના અર્થને
પામી શક્યો નથી.
કદાચ,
તને ચાહવું એટલે…
ધોધમાર વરસાદમાં
કોરાકટ્ટ રહી જવાની
ઘટના હશે…!
તને ચાહવું એટલે…
વૃક્ષ થઇને ફળ્યા વગર
રહી જવાની ઘટના હશે…!
કે પછી –
તને ચાહવું એટલે
ભર વસંતે
પાનખરનો અભિશાપ હશે…!!!
– તને હું પૂછી શકું…
કે તને ચાહવું એટલે ?!

Vary subtle and thought provoking.
‘Hovapanu’ – Existance has been touched upon well , recently by Vivek in his gazals.
But love has never been described in such a subtle way anywhere. As biologists say. ‘There is a chemistry of Love.’
But in the consciousness context- what is love? A very big question.

સાચે જ પ્રેમ વિશે ગમે એટલા કાવ્યો, ગીતો, ગઝલો કે વાર્તાઓ લખાય પરંતુ એને પૂરેપુરો વર્ણવી શકવા માટે કોઇ સમર્થ જ નથી…. હા, એની ઝાંખી જરૂર થાય છે અને એટલે જ કદાચ પ્રેમને વર્ણવી શકવાના પ્રયત્નો થતાં જ રહે છે…
