  સરસ ગઝલ… મનુભાઈએ ‘ગાફિલ’ના ઉપનામથી ગઝલ અને ‘સરોદ’ના ઉપનામથી ભજન લખ્યાં છે. ગઝલના આખરી શેર-મક્તામાં આ પ્રમાણે સુધારો કરવા વિનંતી:

  તમે કેમ ‘ગાફિલ’ હજીયે છો ગાફિલ ?
  જુઓ, બદલે દુનિયા તકાજે તકાજે.

  અને ગઝલના દરેક કાફિયામાં જોડિયા શબ્દોને મૂળ કૃતિમાં જેમ ‘-’ વડે જોડ્યા છે એમ જોડશો જી. દા.ત. નમાજે-નમાજે…..

  saachu kahu to aa kaavya murabbi Shri Shahbuddinbhai Rathod na mukhe, temni hasya rachna o ma sambhdi chhe. peli vaar vanchi ahin, to mara magaj ma akhe akhi kavita chap o chap besi gayee. saache maja padi gayee, aaje jaani ne ke aa kavita na kavi kon chhe, ane akhi kavita kewi chhe.
